Get involved

Wayne Women LEAD encourages women in administration and those who aspire to leadership to join our organization. There are two ways to become involved. Those two ways are intertwined in our commitment to provide programming that supports women in leadership and those who aspire to be.

Planning committee

The planning committee works with the IR's to plan on-campus events that promote the goals of Wayne Women LEAD as well as the MI-ACE Women's Network. Planning committee member drives occur at the same time IR self-nominations are solicited. Here is a list of current planning comittee members.

For more information please email us at waynewomenlead@wayne.edu.

Institutional Representatives

Institutional Representatives (IR's) are appointed by the president, representing academic and administrative shared leadership. IR's also serve as the co-chairs of the WWL Planning committee. Terms of service are two years long, alternating every other year. Therefore, each year one IR steps down and another is appointed for a two-year term. Self-nominations are solicited each year during the winter semester and selections are made in time for the new IR to step in during the summer. If you are interested in this position, please look for our email announcements during the winter semester. Here is a list of our current IRs.
